Mask Making Workshop Sunday, March 22 and Sunday, March 29 11 AM - 2 PM

Get ready for the Occidental Fool’s Parade with a custom mask made from a casting of your own face!

Join your creative neighbors at OCA for a this two-session class where you’ll make a plaster gauze mask of your own face at the first session and then decorate your mask in the second session. All supplies and materials to make the masks will be supplied; bring decorations to embellish the mask for the second session (paints provided). Use your imagination – you can decorate with feathers, beads, flowers, etc. Led by experienced art teachers and ceramicists Nancy Kees Dunn and Carol Swanson, this workshop is open to ages 11 and up.

Class size is limited so register early! $25 fee covers both sessions and includes mask materials. Email info@occidentalcenterforthearts.org with any questions.
