T Sisters: Sassy Sister Folk! Sunday, April 29th 4 - 6 PM

OCA is pleased to welcome back the Oakland-based singer-songwriter siblings Erika, Rachael and Chloe Tietjen, known as the T Sisters!

With their soaring sibling harmonies, sassy stage presence, and inventive songwriting, these three rising stars embody a fresh and soulful take on folk/Americana music, with moments of breathtaking a cappella to swells of energetic indie Americana. The sisters’ contemporary yet classic sound invites a range of likenesses, from the Andrews Sisters and the Pointer Sisters to modern family bands like the Avett Brothers and First Aid Kit.

With the release of their 2014 debut album Kindred Lines (produced by Laurie Lewis), followed by their T Sisters album in 2016, the sisters have been in demand, with performances on ‘Prairie Home Companion’ and major folk/Americana festival circuits. They have collaborated with and supported acts such as Amos Lee, The Wood Brothers, Todd Rundgren, The California Honeydrops and more. Enjoy their lively originals and covers of folk, Americana, gospel, soul, R & B, and country at OCA’s acoustic sweet spot. Reservations advised! $19 Advance/$24 at the door. Fine Refreshments available. Wheelchair accessible. Art Gallery open.
