Donate from your IRA
• Qualified charitable distributions (QCDs) allow individuals aged 70 ½ or older to make tax-free donations directly from their IRAs to eligible charities, providing significant tax benefits.
• QCDs can be used to fund charitable gift annuities, offering a strategic approach to charitable giving.
• QCDs count towards the year’s required minimum distributions (RMDs) for individuals aged 73 or older, potentially reducing taxable income and future RMDs.
Donate Appreciated Stock
• Donating appreciated stocks avoids capital gains taxes, allows a full fair market value deduction, and can provide immediate or enhanced tax benefits, often resulting in more for charitable giving than when selling the stock for cash.
Become a Legacy Donor
• By including OCA in your will, trust, or estate plans you can help preserve the arts for future generations, creating a legacy.

Donate a Car or Real Estate
We work with an organization that will pick up your old car, auction it and give the proceeds to OCA. It’s easy! We can also accept gifts of real estate. Please contact us to learn more about these programs.
