Will it rain on our parade?
No foolin, the parade is on! Rain moves our performers indoors, but we’ll party foolishly rain or shine!
The 2023 Fool’s Parade and Party is Saturday, April 1st!
Gather at the Occidental Community Center by 12:45 PM to be in the Parade which starts at 1 pm. If you’re watching the parade, be sure to get downtown before we close the roads around 12:45 pm. The parade goes from the Community Center through town on Main Street, turning around at Bittner and going up Bohemian Hwy to OCA. The entire parade route is about 0.7 miles.
Follow the parade down to OCA for a community Fool’s Party featuring live music, kids activities, food & drink, performance artists & more!

This is a free community event. Donations are welcomed!
The "How to Successfully Fail in Hollywood" local filmmaker will be in OCA's classroom during the Fool’s Party! Share YOUR short story on camera of a funny fool moment that's happened to you. We're celebrating the same day release of the comedic indie filmed at OCA, Sonoma County and the Bay Area at FunnyFailureFilm.com.
Note: as of 3/26 the weather forecast looks good, but we know things can change. The parade will take place rain or shine; rain moves Fool’s Party Activities indoors. See you April 1st!
