The Ensemble

The Integration is the creative expression of Will Marsh’s (sitar/guitar) unique musical journey of many years devoted to both western music and hindustani classical music. He became initiated into the rich tradition of hindustani classical music as a sitarist under the legendary Ustad Aashish Khan.

Will has since become a shining expression of this tradition with international performances in the realm of traditional sitar. As a kid, Will had an insatiable curiosity for exploring the world’s music. He found profound depth in the traditional music of the world and nurtured that itch by studying World Music Performance at the California institute of the Arts, completing his World Music performance MFA in 2013. Since then, Will’s musical journey has been rich and diverse. He believes passionately that music is essential to all of humanity.

Hearing the rich tapestry of melody for sitar, guitar, cello, saxophone and tabla in the Integration Ensemble connects audiences to the richness of the world’s traditions in a vibrant, fresh expression of humanity’s greatest gift, music!
